Aside from their gambling patterns, the characters also have a pretty good variety of witticisms and comments that they pepper you with as you play. Based on that personality, the characters exhibit certain gambling mannerisms like playing a certain color in roulette or buying insurance in blackjack.
Hoyle Casino also includes AI gamblers, but each one of them has a fairly unique, if stereotypical, personality. Most gambling titles have computer controlled gamblers to play at the tables with you, but too often the computer opponents are too stupid, too smart to seem very lifelike. Even if you master five card stud, there are six more game varieties to learn. Nearly every one of the games has several variations in rules, or, in the case of slots and video poker, a multitude of different machines to play on like Sci Fi slots or Born to be Wild video poker.
